A personal exploration of the combative and redeeming qualities of the sport of running, displaying a specific identity as an athlete, designer and human being. By meshing together different elements or artifacts from the sport of running, and combining their various colors and forms, the piece takes on a kinetic feel and illustrates a more personal perspective inside the mind of a runner. This piece was created solely through the use of a photocopier, using an additive approach to create richer colors and a stronger sense of energy by copying the form several times or displacing and layering the forms over top each other and copying them repeatedly.
